"Variegated crosby's compact'  is the ultra rare variegated form of  'Crosby's compact'.   There may be  three different clones being cultivated currently, one being  more white,  another being more colorful and a third that is smaller.  Variegated Crosby's compact is a slow growing cultivar that  is  prone to producing mostly albino leaves. When this happens the plant is no  longer able to produce chlorophyll and photosynthesis stops  often killing  the plant.
